Logically, the macro would do something like this: It's cumbersome to do this using the UI, and I'd love to have a macro that will let me do it with a click. This means that I need to quickly switch from speakers to headset and back again when getting involved in or leaving guild activities.

(Don't get me started on how annoying it is that Skype can dynamically adjust the sensitivity of the desk mic so it does not pick up the WoW sound effects from the speakers, while Ventrilo cannot!) However, when I'm not in vent, I prefer to use speakers and a desk mic, a setup which works fine even when I'm talking with a friend or two on Skype. This works great when I am playing WoW and am in vent with guildies for raids or whatever. Recently I got a Logitech USB wireless headset.
